HeartCode BLS is the foundation for saving lives after cardiac arrest. Bartlett Fire Protection District now offers CPR training in a blended format for BLS Provider certification through the AHA. Blended learning is a combination of eLearning (online portion), in which a student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner, followed by a hands-on session.
To register for the online session, click here, and you will be directed to the American Heart Association HeartCode BLS website. To register for the hands-on session, please click here. After clicking on the link, please switch the search method from classes to training center sites. Locate the Bartlett Fire Protection District site and click details. The next available hands-on session will be visible. To register, click on the BLS Provider Skills Session to reserve a seat. If you have any problems or additional questions, please contact Firefighter Kevin Galloway.
Students are required to bring a printed copy of the certification for proof of online completion of HeartCode BLS course in order to obtain their course completion card. Students must also bring cash or a check made payable to Bartlett Fire Protection District in the amount of $22 for the hands-on session.
